Before you start
- Check that your device supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked.
- Connect to reliable Wi-Fi and make sure your device has enough battery.
- Sign in to the ZedSIM account used for the purchase and open the order details.
- Keep the eSIM QR code private. To scan it, display it on another screen.
Install your eSIM
Use the QR code or manual installation details shown with your order. On your device, open the cellular or mobile-network settings and choose the option to add a plan. Menu names and steps differ by device, so follow the on-screen prompts and your device manufacturer’s instructions.
Choose when to connect
Installation and plan activation are not always the same step. Before changing mobile-data, data-roaming or preferred-line settings, read the activation and usage instructions for your plan. Those conditions determine when validity begins and how to connect at your destination.
Keep your primary number available
If your device supports multiple SIMs, you may be able to keep your usual SIM enabled while selecting the travel eSIM for mobile data. Available options differ by device and carrier. Check your device instructions and understand any charges from your existing mobile provider before travelling.
